Enjoy Japanses tea at home about How to Store Tea for Better Tasting

You haven't stored Japanese tea in the refrigerator, have you?

We are packing our natural cultivation tea in bags with nitrogen-gas to keep the freshness.

This is because it preserves the flavor better than vacuum packing.

Unopened bags do not need to be frozen in the refrigerator or otherwise chilled.
It is the best stored at room temperature (cool place).

If you open the bag when it is chilled, the temperature difference will cause the tea leaves to become damp at once, ruining the delicious tea. You will lose the good aroma.

If you put the opened tea leaves in the refrigerator, the tea leaves will absorb the smell of the refrigerator, which will also ruin the good smell.

Once you have opened the package, put enough tea in a can to last you for a day or a week, then put the leftover tea in a cool place in your kitchen.

If you have stored the tea in the refrigerator, let it come to room temperature before opening it.

Japanese Tea leaves become oxidized  when they are exposed to air. Therefore, we do not sell tea leaves by weight at  another shop and area, and we try to deliver our tea leaves to our customers in their best condition when they are packed in bags.

After opening the bag, please drink it up as soon as possible within about one month.
